The Covington Galaxy is a member of Georgia Youth Soccer Assoc. and is the Academy and Select soccer arm of the Covington YMCA. The Galaxy program is dedicated to the development and success of all youth soccer players. Galaxy team volunteer coaches and trainers are all certified by Georgia Soccer. This means Galaxy provides professional and affordable training:

Academy Program:
Covington YMCA offers an Academy Program for boys and girls ages 8 - 12. The program is designed for the more serious player who desires professional coaching and a more competitive environment. The program focuses on individual technical development and team tactics. Player assessments are required.
Select Program:
Covington YMCA offers "Select" soccer for boys and girls 13 to 19. This program is designed for the player who desires a highly competitive level of play.
The program's goal is to have all players who graduate from our U13-U19 program be ready to play at their highest level, where they are competent and composed with the technical and tactical elements of the game. Player tryouts are required.
